Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced class with postures held for longer periods of time. The majority of poses are held low to the ground. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments - with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. The slower pace may also leave you cultivating a meditative mindset and is a wonderful compliment to your active exercise routine.

All Levels classes are open to everyone!  Postures will be introduced in a step-by-step method, with focus on proper alignment and muscular engagement.  You'll have plenty of options to increase (or decrease) your own level of intensity along the way.
